Puzzle Day Castorland 2018 gathered a record number of participants

All teams were given two hours’ time to get 500 puzzle pieces together in a picture. The participants had the chance to compete in two categories: "amateurs" and "professionals", and were supposed to assemble puzzles of different complexity.

The first place in the "amateurs" category went to the "Cyclobutane" team, which assembled the picture in 31 minutes 40 seconds, thereby setting a new record. The second place went to the girls from the "Powerpuff girls" with the result of 51 minutes 57 seconds. The bronze medalist was “Our team”, which put all pieces together in 56 minutes 46 seconds.

Participants in the "professionals" category also proved to be fast enough, despite the increased complexity of the puzzle. The first place was won by "PuzzlePuff Girls" - a team of three girls from the city of Brasov, Romania. Together, the girls coped with the picture in 43 minutes 35 seconds. The second place went to the “CUC” team, which showed a result of 46 minutes and 40 seconds. The third place went to "Assassin's team", which assembled the puzzle in 54 minutes 15 seconds.

The Puzzle Day Castorland championship is held for the fifth time by the most popular women's forum in Moldova, mama.md.
